Mg. Esp. CD. Armida Alvarez Montalvan is a Dental Surgeon graduated from the Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, Peru. She holds a specialization in Cariology and Endodontics from the Universidad Privada San Juan Bautista and a Master’s degree in Research and University Teaching from the Universidad Autónoma de Ica. She is currently a PhD candidate in Clinical and Experimental Dentistry at Universidade Unigranrio.
Dr. Alvarez Montalvan has 21 years of clinical experience and 18 years of academic teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at several universities in Peru. She is a faculty member of the Postgraduate Endodontics Program and Head of the Endodontics Area in the undergraduate program at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, and also serves as a faculty member of the Endodontics Specialty Program at the Universidad Norbert Wiener.
She currently serves as President of the Sociedad Peruana de Endodoncia (2025–2027). She was President of Lima Endo 2024 and Scientific Director of Lima Endo 2019. Dr. Alvarez Montalvan is also a Certified Trainer and Stage participant at Dentsply Sirona Endodontics in Ballaigues, Switzerland, a thesis advisor for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and an international and national lecturer in endodontics.

Senior full professor at the Ghent University (Belgium) and guest professor at the University Clinic of Vienna (Austria); his private clinical practice is focused on endodontics, dental traumatology, orofacial damage assessment and dental laser bleaching. He has a 35-year expertise in the field of laser applications in dentistry (endodontics, laser bleaching, restorative dentistry) , and is lecturing world-wide on this topic.
Prof. De Moor was one the members of the ESE workgroup for the assessment of the S3-Level Clinical Practice Guidelines for the treatment of pulpal and apical diseases.
His research is focused on applications of laser technology for root canal cleaning and disinfection, the dynamics of root canal irrigation, the evaluation of endodontic quality and the endo-resto interface.
He is a member of the editorial board of International Endodontic Journal, Journal of Endodontics, Journal of Adhesive Dentistry and Dentistry Journal – section “Lasers in Dentistry”. He has authored and co-authored more than 250 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Together with Giovanni Olivi and Enrico DiVito he has authored the book “Lasers in Endodontics”, but has also contributed to several other textbooks on Endodontology, Dental Laser Applications and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Katia Greco graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from Sapienza University of Rome. In 2004, she became an Active Member of the Italian Society of Endodontics (SIE). Since 2019, she has also been an Active Member of the Italian Academy of Microscopic Dentistry (AIOM), consolidating her experience in the use of the operating microscope in dentistry.
Her academic career began in 2010 as Adjunct Professor of Endodontics at the University of Catanzaro “Magna Graecia,” a position held until 2015. Since 2016, she has served as Adjunct Professor of Endodontics at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, contributing to the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students, with emphasis on advanced techniques and a clinically oriented approach.
Dr. Greco has been actively involved for many years in SIE, where she has held institutional roles including Auditor, Head of Communication, and Secretary for the 2023–2024 biennium. She is currently President-Elect of SIE. From 2024 to 2025, she is also a member of the Executive Board of ASSO.

Mujibur Rahman Howlader, Professor of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU), with the approval of the Honorable President and Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. MR Howlader has been appointed as Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Development) of this university 5th September 2024. Professor Dr. Md. MR Howlader is a renowned Endodontist and the first FCPS degree achiever in the dental profession in Bangladesh in 2003. A former student of Notre Dame College, Professor Dr. Howlader obtained BDS Degree from Dhaka Dental College, University of Dhaka in 1989. In his professional career he has been joining the BCS Health Cadre of Bangladesh Government and His job was begun as an Assistant Dental Surgeon on 25th April 1994 at Upazia Health Complex, District Hospital. Lecturer at Dhaka Dental College, he served as Assistant Professor and Head of the Dental Unit at Sir Salimullah Medical College, Assistant Professor at the Dental Unit of Chittagong Medical College. Having completed MS (Masters of Surgery) in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in 2004 and later has been appointed as assistant professor in the Dept. of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, promoted as associate professor in 2008 and now he has been acting as professor in this reputed department since 2016. In the year 2021 Prof. Dr. Md. MR Howlader attained fellowship in Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, University of Glasgow, UK in 2021. In his academic career, he has also studied at the University of Southern California, USA. Prof. Dr. Md. MR Howlader has been published total 117 (Original Article, Review Article, Case Report) publications and delivering scientific presentation in various international and national seminar across the globe. Prof. Dr. Md. MR Howlader is lifetime member of the Faculty of Surgery including Dental Surgery of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). Professor Dr Sung-Chih Hsieh

Dr. Sung-Chih Hsieh received his D.D.S. degree from Taipei Medical University (1984–1990) and completed advanced specialty training in endodontics at Boston University, where he earned a D.Sc.D. in Endodontics (1994–1998) and a C.A.G.S. in Endodontics (1996–1998).
He is currently a Professor and Vice Chairman of the School of Dentistry, College of Oral Medicine, Taipei Medical University, and has served as Chairman of the Department of Endodontics since 2012. Dr. Hsieh has been an attending endodontist at Taipei Medical University Wan-Fang Hospital since 1999 and previously served as Director of the Endodontic Department from 1999 to 2018.
Dr. Hsieh is a Diplomate of the Academy of Endodontology, ROC (Taiwan) and currently serves as a Supervisor of the Academy (since 2021). He is also an AAE specialist member. His previous leadership roles include President of the Academy of Endodontology, ROC (2017–2019), Executive Director (2009–2017), member of the Endodontist Examination Committee (2007–2017), and Chief Editor of the Journal of Endodontic Science (2011–2015).
Professor Hsieh has published more than 50 research articles, review papers, and case reports in the field of endodontics. His clinical and research interests focus on microscopic endodontics, Schilder’s technique and warm vertical compaction, MTA modification, thermal behavior of gutta-percha, non-destructive testing of Ni-Ti instruments using resonance frequency analysis, bone biology, growth factors, pulp stem cells, and submicron diamond–based endodontic irrigation strategies.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mark Low Jun Fay is the President of the Malaysian Endodontic Society, where he actively leads initiatives to advance endodontic education, clinical standards, and professional development in Malaysia.
Dr. Mark serves as Course Lead in Endodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Lincoln University College, and as a visiting clinical instructor at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. He also contributes to postgraduate training as a board member of the Doctorate in Endodontology programme at Universiti Teknologi MARA and as a reviewer for the European Endodontic Journal.
He holds both Membership and Specialty Fellowship in Endodontics by examination from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Alongside his academic roles, he maintains an active referral-based private practice as a Consultant Endodontist at iCare Dental 3 Damansara, managing complex cases referred from across Malaysia. Dr. Sunil Kim is a Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry at Yonsei University College of Dentistry, South Korea. He completed his entire academic journey at Yonsei University, earning his DDS in 2007, followed by an MS in 2010, and a PhD in 2016 with a specialized doctoral focus on Endodontics.
Dr. Kim’s clinical foundation was established through rigorous internship and residency programs at Yonsei University Dental Hospital. He joined the faculty at his alma mater as an Assistant Professor in 2017, and through his dedication to clinical excellence and academic leadership, he was appointed as a full Professor in 2026. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in advancing the field of clinical endodontics and educating the next generation of specialists.

Dr. Iliana Modyeievsky is a Doctor of Dental Medicine, Specialist and Master’s degree holder in Endodontics. She currently serves as President of the Uruguayan Endodontic Society and Treasurer of the Latin American Endodontic Society.
She is the Director of postgraduate Endodontics programs in Uruguay and other Latin American countries, including Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and Nicaragua. Dr. Iliana Modyeievsky is an active international speaker and has lectured extensively in multiple countries, including presentations at IFEA held in Chile and Glasgow in recent years.
She is co-author of several books and scientific articles in Endodontics published in the Journal of Endodontics. She is a member of a multicenter research group led by Prof. Marco Versiani and Prof. Jorge Martins, and also collaborates with the research group of Prof. José Siqueira.
Dr. Iliana Modyeievsky practices exclusively high-complexity clinical Endodontics.

He has also served as an assistant director of the GPR program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital/Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has chaired several committees for the American Association of Endodontists, and is a past president of the Northern California Academy of Endodontics. He is a past president of the Berkeley Dental Society and has also served on the Board of Trustees of the California Dental Association. Dr. Noblett has also served six years as a Director of the American Board of Endodontics including two years as president of the ABE. Dr Rahimi is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Charles Sturt University (Orange) and La Trobe University (Melbourne). Mehdi graduated with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery with distinction from the University of Otago (New Zealand) in 2002 and received his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Endo) degree from the University of Melbourne in 2008. He has been actively involved in Endodontic teaching at various continued education levels, both nationally and internationally. Mehdi is a clinical educator and lecturer for postgraduate and undergraduate student at Sydney University. He is also CPD mentor for the Australian Dental Association NSW. Mehdi has obtained a number of publications in the field of forensic dentistry and Endodontics (resin-based obturation material and fractured instruments). In 2000 he was awarded the Sir Allan Wilkinson award for the most worthwhile research in Medicine and Dentistry from the University of Otago, in 2001 he was awarded the International Association for Dental Research Young Researchers Award and in 2002 Mehdi received the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award of Merit. He currently works at Libento – Stomatological Centre in Olomouc, serving as Deputy Head Dentist. In addition to providing comprehensive dental care, he is responsible for designing treatment plans for complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases.
His main clinical focus is microscopic endodontics and endodontic retreatment, including surgical endodontics and retrograde procedures. Dr. Řehoř is a member of the Czech Endodontic Society and is actively involved in postgraduate education. He delivers both theoretical lectures and hands-on courses through MM Edu as well as at endodontic congresses.
His teaching is strongly practice-oriented and aims to unify and simplify endodontic workflows, helping dentists make endodontic treatment more predictable and significantly less stressful in everyday practice. One of his key lecture formats focuses on practical “tips and tricks” for endodontics and retreatment.

Professor Hrvoje Jurić
Hrvoje Jurić enrolled at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, in the academic year 1990/91 and graduated in 1995. In 2018, he was appointed Full Professor with tenure. To date, he has published more than 120 scientific papers and is the author or co-author of 15 university textbooks. He is a member of numerous national and international professional associations and societies, including the Croatian Dental Society, Croatian Society of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Croatian Endodontic Society, European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, European Society of Endodontics, International Association of Dental Traumatology, International Association of Paediatric Dentistry, and the Organisation for Caries Research. Since 2015, he has served as President of the Croatian Dental Society of the Croatian Medical Association. He has been Head of the Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, since 2014. Since 2024, he has held the position of Vice-Dean for Integrated Studies and Students. His main fields of interest include caries prevention, chemical and mechanical plaque control, oral microbiology, endodontic procedures in primary and young permanent teeth, dental traumatology, and aesthetic reconstructive procedures.

He is currently the director of the post graduate endodontics program at the College of Dental Sciences, Galilee Medical. Dr. Moreinos is the Chairman of the Israeli Endodontic Society, a member of the Israeli Ministry of Health Professional Committee in Endodontics, and Head of the National Postgraduate Endodontics Examination Board. He is also a member of the European Society of Endodontology.

In 2009, he began working as an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Birmingham under the mentorship of Profs. Anthony Smith and Paul Cooper.
Upon returning to Japan, he became an associate professor in 2015. He currently works at the Dental Hospital as a conservative dentistry specialist approved by the Japanese Dental Specialty Board, as well as supervising undergraduate and PhD students at Graduate School of Dentistry, The University of Osaka (formerly Osaka University).
His research focuses on vital pulp treatment from the dual perspectives of diagnosis and treatment. He has investigated the development of a novel pre/intraoperative pulp diagnostic method. He is particularly interested in vital pulp treatment for severe pulpitis, formerly known as irreversible pulpitis. He has established a rat model of moderate/severe caries-induced pulpitis and is seeking a novel agent to cure pulpitis and avoid root canal treatment.

Paulius Tušas, DDS, PhD, is an endodontist and Assistant Professor at the Institute of Odontology, Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University, Lithuania. He earned his PhD in 2024 with a dissertation focused on the physicochemical and biological properties of hydraulic calcium silicate–based (HCSC) materials and their clinical applications in endodontics.
His research interests include HCSC biomaterials, their interaction with surrounding tissues, root canal obturation quality, and the use of micro-computed tomography for three-dimensional evaluation of treatment outcomes. Dr. Tušas has authored and co-authored multiple papers in international peer-reviewed journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.
Alongside his research, he is actively involved in undergraduate dental education and supervises student research projects, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based clinical decision making.
Dr. Tušas serves as President of the Lithuanian Society of Endodontology, contributing to professional education, scientific exchange, and the development of international collaboration within the endodontic community.

Giorgos (George) Tzanetakis is Associate Professor at the Department of Endodontics, School of Dentistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Dr Tzanetakis received his Dental Degree (DDS) from School of Dentistry of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2007, he completed the three-year postgraduate program in Endodontics at the same University completing his Master Thesis (MSc). In 2015, he received his Doctoral Degree in Oral Biology with grade excellent while in 2020, he completed his second Master Thesis (MSc) in Molecular Microbiology. Ηis Research Monograph is dealing with partial pulpotomy in immature and mature teeth with symptoms of irreversible pulpitis. Dr. Tzanetakis is member of the Editorial Board of Dental Traumatology and International Endodontic Journal and has published 47 articles in Pubmed indexed international journals and more than 80 in total in both national and international journals. He serves as reviewer for several international peer reviewed journals including International Endodontic Journal, Journal of Endodontics, Australian Endodontic journal, Journal of Evidenced-Based Dental Practice, Clinical Oral Investigations, and others. Dr Norachai Wongkornchaowalit
Dr. Norachai graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2008. He subsequently completed a Master of Science in Endodontics in 2011 and a Higher Graduate Diploma in Endodontics in 2012, both from Chulalongkorn University. In the same year, he also received the Thai Board Certificate in Endodontics.
From 2011 to 2015, Dr. Norachai served as a full-time lecturer at Chulalongkorn University and has continued as a part-time lecturer since 2015. He currently serves on the board examination committee and is the secretary of both the Thai Endodontic Association and the Thai Board of Endodontics.
He has delivered numerous lectures and hands-on courses on root canal treatment nationwide, co-authored two endodontic textbooks, and contributed to academic publications.
His clinical interests include microscope-assisted root canal therapy, management of cracked teeth, non-surgical and surgical retreatment, and post-endodontic restoration.
